Request for Quotation Terms
How material requests, quotations and technical requirements are handled.
Request only
Submitting an RFQ requests review and pricing. It is not a purchase order, reservation, promise of supply or acceptance of customer terms.
Customer requirements
The customer is responsible for accurate quantities, specifications, project requirements and authority to share attached documents. Ambiguities may delay quotation.
Quotation scope
A quotation may identify manufacturer, catalog number, acceptable alternative, quantity, unit, price, freight, tax treatment, lead time, validity period, payment terms and exclusions. Only the written quotation controls.
Availability and lead time
Availability and lead time can change until an order is accepted and released. Dates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing.
Technical verification
Requested standards or certifications are not presumed. Verification applies only to documentation for the exact product offered.
